The Open Corporate Data space is starting to fill up quickly as new entrants are beginning to advocate for and work with open data. Two key players are OrgPedia and OpenCorporates. Their approaches are wildly different, but do they serve the same purpose? In the mean time, they are both making headway for change. As a means to deliver better accountability and information to the public, both are advocating that governments open their data as soon as possible. Without this, their missions are severely impaired.
